The oh-so-lovely fall colours, the bountiful harvests that come with the season -- they all point to His handiwork.
And in a beautiful way, they remind me also, of the treasures in our own lives. Much to be grateful for. And His love, His grace I see, one season, one day at a time. Praise God!

We'll be off tomorrow for a little family vacation, our first one this year, actually! And because the plans were already made, we have the rest of today to get all better! Our boys are so excited, they stashed their backpacks full of "outside" clothes, and PJ's, too, and "don't forget the thermals!". Of course their backpacks alone won't do, as there are more layers we have to pack...
... (Hope-it's-not-too) Windy City, here we come!
