The sun's out, after two weeks of almost non-stop showers and thunderstorms! While we didn't go kite-flying, we did spend some lovely time outside yesterday, with another family!
Many trees still haven't got back their crowning glory, but the grass is looking nice and green again!

Can you guess where we were headed, cutting through all this expanse of green? It's the lush greenery that's what makes the beautiful Forest Park, St Louis' very own Central Park!

Turned out to be quite a hike there, even before we reached our destination. And only because we couldn't find any nearer parking. The rest of the world had thought the same about seizing the day! Just go for it...

... and finally, we arrived!

Can you tell we were at the ZOO?!!
Maybe this'll help...

*quack, quack* *chuckle, chuckle*!
OK, I was carried away by the first blooms of spring...

... always such a joy to behold!

And as you can see, that's the reason why I wasn't so much interested in taking pictures of people or animals, as I was in capturing -- and just taking in -- what a gorgeous day it was! =)
This is the day the LORD has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.
- Psalm 118:24

We have always had problems when out kite flying. cant seem to keep the kite up in the sky. not sure if it is us or the kites or the winds here?!?
Yes, my kids call those Mamee noodles monster noodles becoz of cookie monster on the front!!
Thanks for sharing the pictures. Someone said that it's not about how expensive is your toys (mean camera), it's about taking pictures with your heart!
Your pictures opens the majestic chorus of God's creation. It really awakens me from a restful slumber!
Yes, having a flu, taking some medication, thus the slumber! He..he..
Oh yes, like your new blog look! So sunny!
SAHM,
Thanks, know what you mean about kite-flying... it's hard to let the kite just ride the wind like that.
Haha, so those monster noodles are going at 50cents... daylight robbery!
Yan,
You're welcome, and hope you're feeling all better already!
Our digital camera is quite a basic one, still holding back to upgrade to the more expensive kind!
As for blog layout, I think the blue is pretty stark, but to look at it as sunny skies as you said... that's a new take, I like! =)
B-i-u-t-i-f-u-l...
Such a nice weather to go out with family..
Such a beautiful place for an outing. You know, that's what we lack in Malaysia. There is not a place as clean as this.
SPACE!!! SO MUCH OPEN SPACE, Greeeeenary, Nature!!! Guess this is what is lacking here back home. I just love your pictures, it gives me the sense of freedom to run about! =) So close to nature!

It's like taking a walk in the park thru your blog! I love the wide open that you've shared! Everything looks crisp and fresh, what a day indeed!! On fine days, I also often thought to myself, ' This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. ' ;)
