Our Spring Break has come and gone! Before school resumed today, we managed just one more playdate. So happened it was with girls (again)!
It went pretty well, better than what one boy thought -- Ben, who'd hesitated to go, because even more so than his Gor Gor Jon, he's already at the 'girls live on a different planet' phase for awhile now!

When two's better than one, to share the load...

It's always a bonus to spend time with friends, besides that an outing like this helps children burn up some of their energies that they never seem to run out of! And I always can use more of such downtime! What about you? ;p
Additional playtime outdoors, after our Science Centre visit, when the rains held back a little!

Now for me to get back to my Operation Cleanup/Pack Up, that I'd swept under the carpet! Not just the vacuuming and mopping that are trickier to get done with two kids tearing through the house leaving a constant trail of toys, Legos, books...
Hope you pack in the most you can, for the week! Have a good one =)
Nothing really blossoming yet over our side, but these hardier greens are a nice reminder that the showers and thunderstorms we've been getting, will bring spring blooms!

So nice to see them playing with the gal pals. After a certain age, they wont want anything to do with classmates of the opposite sex. My daughter does not consider any of the boys in her class as her friends, just classmates. Ditto my son. But after a few more years, I am sure all that will change!!
Hope you have a great spring break!!
Yes bp, spring is making way to meet you soon!
Yes, spring time is here. Yay! But these few days, it's been raining in my part of the world, making it a little gloomy. :(
so fun they are ...have a nice day
SAHM,
Heehee, know what you mean that kids, and my boys are like this too, think from a very young age that boys and girls already live on different planets.
It took me quite a lot of persuasion to convince one little boy that this playdate was going to be fun! Glad we made it!
Stardust,
The grass is greener already and I see some buds on trees! =)
Tot's Mom,
Yay to spring! We've also been getting lots of rain, and thunderstorms too. But showers bring flowers, right?
Hazel,
You, too... enjoy your week now!
