With the fun rides at Celebration City last weekend, besides the water kind, the question was not so much, "To ride, or not to ride", as it was, "Can ride, or not?"!
And the good daddy assures Ben -- who's afraid he'll miss out on some fun here and there -- that there are rides that he can go for, if Vern accompanies him!
And here's how the rides measured up... for the ones Jon and Ben really enjoyed, they would ask to go for them again, if not, it's again AND again... please!!!

And there were those with Vern, and only one (the carousel) with me!
Highest-thrill ride for Jon:
The Elevator -- the older kids' and adults' version, not the smaller one he did with Ben. And he didn't want to do it again!
Most meaningful ride for Ben:
The Go-Kart! For 1h or so, Ben waited as patiently as he could with me, when Vern took Jon first, but I couldn't be in the queue with Ben concurrently as the ride was off-limits to me. However, midway standing in line with Vern, before their turn was up, there was a technical fault in the ride and it was temporarily closed. We didn't have to see the big blobs of tears rolling down Ben's cheeks, to understand why it meant so much to him that he got to do this ride. 
Finally, it was the very last time the ride ran before the park closed for the night, after having queued for it for almost another hour, that was the one that Vern and Ben took!
Phew! So glad they made it! Ben himself said the rides weren't complete without this "land" one, besides just the "air" and "water" rides, as he called all of those he and Jon got to do! =)

Glad that Ben managed to catch his best ride. I'm too weak to see the disappointment in children. Weak again to see the joy in their eyes. =)

The crowd must be crazy yeah.. to hv to wait for > 1 hr for the go-kart. Luckily Ben still managed to play it.
It's so brave of Jon to try the Elevator. It gives me the palpitations just looking at it! LOL!

Ladies,
One part of me was thinking, aw, the fun I was missing out, but the other (more down-to-earth) part tells me I don't really have the guts for the high-thrill rides! Coz not young anymore... gotta admit "lao liao" ;p
