Lovely fall

Fall is my favorite time of the year...

Not the busy, busy part...

It's another hectic traveling quarter for the hubs, and the kids know to keep me on my feet and toes, motherhood sure is tough!

Right pics: The view out my car window, from where I park, ferrying the kids for school and their afterschool activities. Morning, day, and night.

But this...
His mercies are new every morning.

*Breathe*. Breathe in all that beauty!

I am stopping to gaze, before picking up my pace again!
After school when the sun came out, and it was especially gorgeous!
"Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower".

-Albert Camus
Soak up the goodness.

And let's press on...

Lay in the sun, count our blessings

It was a beautiful day and setting...

For a beautiful couple's wedding!

What a joy it was for us to share in their special day.

I was also reminded of how much LOVE I am blessed with.

"Let us lay in the sun and count every beautiful thing we see"
I've been feeling more stressed. But stopping to gaze is good, even when as the autumn chill sets in and we can't literally go bask in the sun.

Counting our blessings, that's one way to help me not lose track of being "too blessed to be stressed" on those more overwhelming days.

Deep breaths, yah...
And carry on!

Back to school

It's back to school!

We survived our first week!

This is my kindergartener... with her backpack, the one that fits the class folder. It is as "small" as she is, I know, right, lol!
She's got it in her stride. Still I remind her, we've got your back, my baby!

Activities are back in full swing also. On the first day itself, I counted eight other sports teams practising where I dropped off one son, before heading over to the next point to drop other son off for something else.

Our schedules have filled up fast!

Soccer alone for both boys happen five days a week.
Yeah, back-to-school days are exciting... and exhausting!

No turning back now... I'd better also shoo us off to bed earlier!
